Growing up in central Pennsylvania working with my father, renovating, painting and fixing up houses became my life long passion. But, I made my passion, new career and business after a twenty-five year run in the corporate world in New York City working for The Associated Press and Media Bistro Holdings. I love working with my hands and improving my clients homes and bettering their lifestyles.
Originally from Northern California with parents that enjoyed flipping houses. Relocated to New York City to follow my FORD MODELS fashion modeling and acting career. Traveled to over thirty-five countries, exploring beautiful properties and design. This experience created my own personal sense of style. Circa 2003 founded my boutique branding business Kristen Jensen Productions, LLC. kristenjensen.com specializing turnkey visual branding for my clients that include; strategy, photography, video, websites and logo design. My hobby, passion and favorite pastime is creating beautiful spaces for our own home and our client’s homes, too.

We hired Tom to renovate our basement which included demolition, some new wall framing, drywall walls/ ceiling, new lighting, and flooring. Tom was very easy to work with. He was thorough and helpful in the planning phase, and in the execution phase he was meticulous, reliable, timely, and clean. We would definitely recommend him, and would hire him again for future projects.

We hired Tom to remodel our full bathroom. Full gut to rebuild. Our house was built in 1947 and Tom took all the challenges associated with that in stride. He pays close attention to detail and his finish work is precise. That was very important to us. He was on time, flexible, and delivered what was promised. We could not be happier with the final result! We would absolutely hire him again and highly recommend him.

Tom at KJ Renovations, LLC. was absolutely fantastic to work with. He remodeled the basement of our 1890 home. Tom gave great recommendations on the space, materials and future use. His attention to detail was the highlight of the project and making sure we were happy with the work step by step. Tom Kitt did an excellent job. I was surprised at how efficiently he finished the job. The barn is a 24×36 foot 2-3 story building. He was finished within a week and was able to work around the horses without a problem.I know that he has many skills and look forward to calling on him again for future projects.

Tom helped seal in, insulate and weatherize a rehabilitated 3-season porch. He was thorough, had great ideas, and was meticulous at carrying them out. He works very economically, and I hardly knew he was here. He goes about his job with great diligence and even would help me with an odd task here and there that needed to be done around the house. Tom also installed overhead lighting fixtures and a new drop ceiling. He transformed our basement into an amazing office and work space. He arranged for and installed a custom door and installed custom molding after laying a new tile floor. Amazing Job! We could not have been any happier. Tom is exceptionally easy to work with.

I have used KJ Renovations (Tom) now, twice. Tom is wildly meticulous and an absolute master of his craft. I was completely astounded at the level of precision and detail Tom exercised when installing a new attic floor (complete with leveling and insulation) and installing two new custom windows into my 300 year old home. If you know antique homes, you know nothing is straight-forward or easy. Working on an hold home requires diligence, skill, and patience. Tom flawlessly tackled my daunting projects while not only being timely, but communicating in the most upfront and transparent way possible. Tom did a fine job of replacing the walkway from my driveway to the door and adding lighting to same. He also moved my laundry from the basement to the second floor, a massive job that has made doing the laundry so much more convenient. Both jobs involved design as well as execution and were completed superbly and on time.
